This graduate management admission council has set up their 550 test centres in almost 110 countries. In each and every year, it is estimated that about 2 lakh and 50 thousand students appear in this test. To appear in this test, you have to submit registration fee of 250 dollars. In most of the USA business schools, they are also accepting score of GRE test. So it is all up to the students what whether they want to appear in GRE test or they want to sit for this GMAT test.
Structure of GMAT Test (Graduate Management Admission Test)
You will be assessed on your analytical writing skills. In this particular section, candidates have to write an essay in the time frame of 30 minutes. You will be marked that how you are going to present your arguments and opinions.
In integrated reasoning portion, you will get 12 objective based questions and you need to solve these questions in the time frame of 30 minutes. These 12 questions will come in the form of multi source reasoning questions, graphical based questions, table analysis questions.
Other Important Sections in GMAT Test
Then from the quantitative section, you will get 37 MCQs and you have to attempt these 37 MCQs in time duration of 75 minutes. These MCQs will be related to the topics of problem solving as well as data sufficiency. All of the problem solving questions and MCQs will be entirely based on the topics of algebra, arithmetic and too on the topics of geometry. You need to use your mathematical skills to solve and attempt these MCQs. Candidates will not be allowed to use calculator in this quantitative section.
Then comes the verbal section. In this section, you will get 41 MCQs and these MCQs will be related and linked with comprehension skills, critical reasoning skills.
